Associate Director, BTS Southeast Asia
Marc is an Associate Director at BTS and supports clients in Leadership Development and Coaching. He partners with clients to empower their leaders through mindset shifts and strategic alignment to deliver strategic execution, and this is achieved by partnering with clients to design, develop and facilitate customized learning interventions. Marc facilitates core leadership programmes such as Multipliers, Leadership Signature, stakeholder management and other leadership content for front-line leaders to senior leaders.
Marc is also an ICF Associate Certified Coach and he adopts a strengths-based approach to coaching. He has worked with HiPOs, middle- and junior- managers on areas of job crafting, delegation and upward management. He is also a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), which is a psychometric tool used to measure one’s capability to shift cultural perspective and appropriately adapt behaviours to cultural differences and commonalities.
Marc has worked with some of the world’s leading companies in Insurance, Manufacturing, Luxury Retail, Tech, Telecommunications as well as with the Singapore Government & Tertiary Education Institutions.
Prior to BTS, Marc honed his leadership skills in the Republic of Singapore Navy, where his last appointment was the second-in-command on a warship. Marc also brings strong experience from the HR Strategy Consulting industry, working with clients to solve their employee engagement and retention challenges.
Outside of BTS, Marc also serves as an Associate Lecturer at a local university where he teaches in the Psychology Department and the Institute of Adult Learning. Mental well-being, resilience and peak performance are among his key areas of interest.
Marc is fluent in English and speaks basic Mandarin.
