Patrick Kammerer

Senior Director, Sales and Marketing Practice at BTS

Patrick Kammerer is a Senior Director at BTS, where he leads Sales and Marketing work in the eastern U.S. and helps set go-to-market strategy across North America. Having spent more than 15 years in sales, starting as a seller and sales manager, he builds programs for people who carry a number.

Most sales strategies don't fail in the plan. They fail in a few customer moments where sellers fall back on old habits. Patrick's programs have teams rehearse those moments before the stakes are real. His latest article for Selling Power makes the case for usingAI on routine work so coaching can focus on the judgment calls that decide deals.

In eight years at BTS, his programs have reached more than 50,000 sellers and leaders worldwide. That includes a multi-year partnership with Mastercard on sales programs for everyone from frontline sellers to sales executives.

For a global chemical manufacturer, he led a consultative selling program built on business simulations and coaching. EBITDA grew 10% the following year, and the program earned a Net Promoter Score of 72.

He has designed sales kickoffs for audiences of up to 30,000 and written about them for CEOWorld. When a leading AI data cloud company launched a new sales methodology, Patrick used a business simulation at its sales kickoff to activate it with about 3,000 sellers. They gave it a 90% satisfaction score and said they preferred it to traditional role plays.

Patrick received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD, USA. He currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina where most weekends you'll find him on a trail with his son in a hiking backpack.
