Josh is a Senior Vice President and Partner at BTS North America, where he leads several of the firm’s largest global client relationships. Josh also serves as the Head of BTS North America’s energy sector, where he helps oil and gas, utility, and power company leaders build the leadership capability to keep pace with a business being reshaped from every direction: demand growing faster than the grid can be built, a generational leadership transition compressing decades of institutional knowledge into a narrow handoff window, and AI moving from pilot to core operations faster than most organizations can build the judgment to run it well.
Josh anchors BTS's growing energy sector practice with a client base spanning global leading integrated oil companies (IOCs) including ExxonMobil and Chevron, and utilities including Entergy, Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Power, and Arizona Public Service. He builds the internal case for where BTS should invest next in the sector, recruits and develops the consulting talent behind that growth, and stays close to the market forces energy leaders are managing, from quarterly earnings trends across the majors to the workforce and regulatory shifts reshaping utilities.
Before BTS, Josh was an engineer at The Boeing Company, where he led Engine Trending and Diagnostics for the West Coast C-17 Operating Bases, providing real-time engine data analysis to the United States Air Force and international C-17 customers, an early grounding in high-stakes, technically demanding operations.
Josh splits his time between Houston and Los Angeles. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids, going to the beach and watching his kids play water polo.
Industry Expertise: Josh leads BTS’ energy sector, including oil & gas, utilities & power, upstream, downstream & chemicals, low carbon solutions, and renewables. He also has deep experience working in the retail, healthcare, hospitality, software, and manufacturing industries.
