James Blaker

James is a Senior Vice President based in London and is a member of BTS’s European Leadership Team and leads the firm’s consulting practice in London. For more than a decade, he has been working as a thought partner to business leaders across Europe, North America and Asia. His role is two-fold: to engage global leaders and leverage BTS resources to guide individual and organisational decisions across a variety of human capital areas. Before joining BTS, James wasa Manager with Barclays, where he advised and supported clients across Europe on a range of corporate transactions. This is when he developed an interest in people and great leadership.‍

Industry expertise: James works closely with senior leaders, particularly in the industrial sector, with a focus on Energy. He has deep experience managing cross-border talent strategies and development projects for global clients.

James is passionate about helping organisations close the skills and mindset gap and empowering people so they have access to the right development experiences which help organisations in accelerating their strategy execution capabilities.
