Ross Crooke

Ross has been with BTS for 23 years and held a range of senior positions before stepping into leadership of the firm's Applied AI practice.

Ross now leads BTS's work helping enterprise clients move AI from experimentation to everyday impact. He leads enablement for system integrators bringing frontier AI into the way teams work. He partners with senior leaders in global enterprises across financial services, technology, energy, consumer goods, and healthcare, redesigning workflows from the ground up rather than running capability assessments. Ross is also BTS's "Customer Zero" for AI: testing internally what the firm takes to enterprise clients, so adoption is proven before it is sold.

Before leading Applied AI, Ross was Head of BTS's London office, with responsibility for the growth of the business, the growth of the talent, and delivery for clients across the region. He then spent 13 years as Head of Global Operations Development, building and running BTS's operating systems across 38 offices globally.

His career has spanned designing and facilitating transformation with Fortune 500 organizations through multiple waves of change: analogue to digital, branches to mobile, on-premise to cloud. The pattern, he argues, is consistent. Adoption happens when people see their actual work improve.

Outside of work, Ross is based near Bristol and runs trails with his two spaniels whenever he can. He has a Masters in Engineering from Oxford University.
