Michel Tuan Pham is the Kravis Professor of Business in Marketing at Columbia University, where he has been teaching in the MBA, EMBA, Ph.D., and Executive Education programs for more than 30 years. He is the Chair of the Marketing Division and Research Director of Columbia's Center for Global Brand Leadership. He has a Licentiate degree in Applied Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain-Mons, in Belgium, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Business Administration from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He has held visiting professorships at the University of Chicago, the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium, the China Europe International Business School in Shanghai, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Singapore Management University, and Nanyang Technological University.
The author of more than 50 widely cited articles in major scientific journals in consumer behavior, marketing, and decision making, he is a leading expert in consumer psychology, marketing strategy, and branding. He is a past President and honored Fellow of the Society for Consumer Psychology, the premier professional organization for the advancement of the psychological science of the consumer. An acclaimed executive teacher, he has conducted highly rated seminars on marketing strategy, branding strategy, customer insight, consumer psychology, and managerial decision making for thousands of executives from hundreds of companies across different industries. His consulting and expert witness activities are in the areas of marketing strategy, customer insight, consumer psychology, trademark psychology, and the psychology of decision-making.
