Influencing others is a time-tested leadership challenge. In this article published in the Spring 2020 issue of Rotman Management, Andy Atkins shares a new way of looking at influence. He explores the as yet untapped application of Design Thinking’s framework and approach to increase persuasion and decrease resistance.

The article focused on 2 key principles of Design Thinking that provide a useful perspective in how to broaden your lens to make the case for persuasion:

  • IDEO’s three lenses of innovation
