Joel Sigrist heads BTS operations in Europe and is a member of the Group Executive Team. In this capacity Joel is responsible for developing the market and leading the 7 offices in the region. His other responsibilities include managing key client relationships and helping leading corporations accelerate the execution of their strategies globally. Joel has over 15 years of experience in the field of executive development that deliver bottom line results and has worked for clients in many different industries ranging from pharma to financial services. Prior to joining BTS, Joel was heading the sales force of the largest training outsourcing company in the UK, focusing on building and supporting a team of field and office-based sales staff. Previously, Joel worked for a management consultancy that helped organisations shorten the time to value of their business initiatives through the development of their managers’ skills and capabilities. During his six years tenure he held different positions in different offices and was heading the European organisation when he left. Joel also held various positions in finance and investment banking after graduation.
He lives in London with his wife and three daughters who take up most of his spare time.
Industry expertise: Joel has worked with companies such as Roche on the implementation of value-based management and the development of their strategic marketing capabilities. He also supported Unilever on strategic programmes aimed at growing their business by working with the company’s leadership team and the regional management teams reporting into them. Other clients include EY, ING Bank, HP and Coca Cola. Joel has also contributed to executive development programmes at London Business School.
