Michael Tapia

Senior Consultant, Assessment Practice

Michael is a Senior Consultant for the Assessment Practice at BTS USA. He partners with clients across industries to develop and implement talent initiatives focused on evaluating skills, abilities, and other relevant factors linked to performance in specific roles or within organizations. Since joining BTS, Michael has supported the evaluation of candidates using behavioral and personality-based assessments. He has also supported the evaluation of leadership behavior and impact on organizational performance to promote development opportunities for individual leaders and senior leadership teams.
 
Prior to BTS, Michael worked for Hogan Assessment Systems, a workplace assessment provider, where he was a Talent Analytics Consultant in the Hogan Research Division. Outside of consulting, he also worked at Sprouts Farmers Market where he was employed as an Organizational Development Analyst supporting talent initiatives and performance management systems. Michael attended The University of Tulsa, earning a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. Outside of work, Michael enjoys cooking, hiking, painting, and spending time with his family and friends.
