To execute on its growth strategy, Boston Scientific (BSC), a company dedicated to transforming lives through innovative medical solutions, needed future-ready leaders who could think more strategically about the business and thrive in expanded roles, while learning to develop and take others with them in a very complex matrixed organization. While these leaders possessed strong technical expertise, they needed to enhance their self-awareness, relationship-building, enterprise thinking, and financial acumen to succeed. Organizational silos created additional challenges by limiting knowledge sharing and talent mobility.

To address these gaps, Boston Scientific partnered with BTS to launch a new leadership development program, Advanced Manager Experience, to help high-potential senior managers prepare for their next transition as leaders of leaders, while providing a consistent global experience. What set this program apart was the immersive experience that accelerated senior manager readiness for director-level roles by focusing on both enterprise and people acumen.
