Coaching in a Tech-Enabled World

Earlier this year, we convened a small group of senior L&D leaders to explore a question that continues to evolve: What does effective coaching look like in a tech-enabled world?
What emerged was a complex challenge and dynamic leaders are dealing with - how to design a coaching approach that is both scalable and impactful, while remaining aligned to organisational priorities.
Organisations are increasingly navigating a set of tensions:
- Scale and depth: balancing broad access with meaningful development
- Human and AI: integrating technology without diluting impact
- Measurement and value: moving beyond activity to demonstrable outcomes
The question is no longer whether AI has a role in coaching, but how deliberately it is integrated to enhance, rather than dilute, impact. Joined by leaders navigating this in practice, we’ll explore how organisations are addressing these tensions.
What we will explore
In this session, we will focus on the practical implications of these shifts:
- From solution to portfolio
Treating coaching as a dynamic ecosystem rather than a single intervention - Designing the right mix
Aligning different coaching modalities to specific leadership needs and moments - Linking coaching to performance
Moving from insight and activity to measurable organisational value - Learning from peers
A candid exchange on what’s emerging and how to navigate the new coaching landscape with panellists and experts
