Lee Sears

Associate Coach, United Kingdom

Lee co-founded BRIDGE, a global leadership consultancy in 1987, and set up Coach in a Box (now BTS Coach) in 2005.  He started his career as a sports coach, developing a specialism in peak performance coaching.
 
Lee draws from an eclectic mix of methods informed by Gestalt, Psychosynthesis, Rational Emotive Therapy, TA, NLP and Barber’s work on Holistic Personal Education.
 
Previous experience:
Before reading law at Christ’s College, Cambridge, Lee spent three years as a Metropolitan police officer, during which time he set up a coaching programme for members of gangs in Brixton and worked in the Drug Squad in Jamaica.
 
BTS Coach is now the world’s largest coaching business and Lee and the team are committed to taking the insight from their hundreds of thousands of coaching conversations, to provide simple insight into the leadership shifts that make the biggest difference.

As a coach and consultant, Lee specialises in supporting senior leaders through major organisational change, fundamental culture change, and innovation-led market breakthroughs.  Over the last 28 years, Lee has coached hundreds of senior executives to develop their personal leadership capacity in the most turbulent times.
 
As a co-founder of Coach in a Box, Lee has supported the development of a map of key attitudinal changes that underpin the effectiveness of leaders in times of massive market challenge and organisational change. In concert with academic partners like Singapore Management University, Coach in a Box has taken the insight from the world’s largest data base of coaching, to map the attitudinal and behavioural shifts that matter the most.
