Driving a culture of innovation requires multiple touch points and ongoing reinforcements with the change agents. One of the biggest challenges public agencies face is not the ability to create ideas and work with them, but changing the leadership behaviours that hinder innovation.

How can you foster a culture in which innovation can flourish? You’ll require exploration skills, execution skills and unique innovation leadership behaviours. In this programme, we will tackle the following questions:

What does it take to innovate?
How do I lead it?
What moves can I make back at work tomorrow?

Note: The programme consists of virtual classroom sessions conducted over four half-days on Zoom.

How you will benefit

  • MANAGE uncertainty and approach innovation projects as experiments, where you test ideas, assess results and learn from failure
  • LEARN how to develop a culture of innovation by cascading these skills across your agency, and lead with the right innovation behaviours
  • SHARPEN your team empowerment and project sponsorship skills
  • DEFINE actionable strategies and commitments that can be deployed immediately

Who should attend

You are a Singapore Public Officer who holds the position of Director, Deputy Director or equivalent. You are a leader who wants to:

  • Experiment with innovation tools that you can use within your agency
  • Develop and sustain a strong culture of innovation within your agency
  • Lead people to adopt an innovation mindset
