Matt Tonken

Matt leads the east area commercial operations for BTS’ Assessment Practice and provides consulting services to executive leadership across industries and around the globe. He has 20 years of assessment, coaching, and client management experience.
 
His primary responsibilities include leading commercial activities of the assessment team for the east area of the US, account management, and development and delivery of assessment experiences. He assesses and coaches leaders and executives across industries as a part of the BTS Assessment Practice and East Area leadership.
 
Matt helps clients implement and execute their strategies by defining what success looks like for a given role or level and then designing and delivering assessment programs that place the right people in the right roles with the right capabilities. His programs demonstrate strong return on investment as well as client and participant satisfaction.
 
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts in I/O Psychology from New York University. Before joining BTS in 2014, Matthew was part of the executive leadership team at Fenestra, a talent strategy consulting firm based in New York City. Fenestra was acquired by BTS in October of 2014.
